Your safety comes first. These are the tools Brickchat gives you, and what to do when something feels wrong.

If you are in danger

Call the emergency services first: 112 in Europe, 17 for the police in France. Brickchat moderators cannot send help.

Block

Blocking someone stops them from messaging you, sending friend requests, and seeing your messages and Stories. They are not told. Manage blocked people in Privacy & Safety › Blocked Users.

Report

Report a person from their profile, a message by pressing and holding it, and a Story from its ⋯ menu. Moderators review every report and can remove content or suspend accounts. Reporting is confidential.

Control who can reach you

In Privacy Controls choose who can send you message requests and friend requests, and whether people can find you by phone number.

Meeting neighbours

Meet in public places, tell a friend where you are going, and never share your home address in district chat.

Notifications

Turn off Notification Preview to keep message text off your lock screen.
